Now recruiting! Creative Work Placements and Intern

We’re recruiting two new Creative Work Placements and one Creative Programme Intern at The Art Station, to assist the team to deliver the fun, all-ages Art and Learning programme, including exhibitions, talks, Events, walks and workshops. Art Station is focusing more on our local natural environment and how we can look after it. You will be working with the Programme Manager, Co-ordinator, Freelance Artists and our volunteers to offer high quality experiences for our participants and audience.

We particularly encourage applications from groups who are underrepresented in the cultural sector including working class people, disabled people, and people from ethnically diverse backgrounds.

Creative Programme Work Placement

  • 17 – 24 years old.
  • You may have some experience from working in paid employment or you might have volunteered.
  • Hours: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. Mon to Friday. Minimum 3 days per week including one day ( either Saturday or Sunday) worked at the weekend at least twice per month.

The Creative Programme Intern

  • 18 – 25 years old.
  • We will expect you to already have some training and qualifications in creative subjects. You may be a graduate looking for a first paid job after college/University.
  • Hours: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm. ( 8 hours per day) Mon to Friday. 3 days per week including one day (Saturday or Sunday) worked at the weekend at least twice per month.
  • Pay: £22,000 p.a. pro rata (£6,100 for 3 days a week over 6 months contract).
