The Art Station’s innovative Art and Learning Programme comprises exhibitions, events, talks and screenings, with sessions for children and young people built around the programme to offer access to and increase engagement with contemporary creative practice. Our community activities offer a range of accessible creative opportunities for different social groups in the local area with an emphasis on art, wellbeing and collaboration.

We run a dynamic programme of exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing diverse emerging and established Suffolk based and UK creatives, alongside international contemporary artists.

Our creative learning sessions offer a range of artist-led activities for different age groups, building activities around our current exhibitions, projects and events and making connections to other subjects including science, heritage and technology.

The Art Station offers creative sessions for different community groups in the local area including family friendly Saturday Nature Walks, a men’s photography meet-up and half term activities for children.

As part of the Art & Learning programme, The Art Station holds recorded talks and discussions between artists and peers, as part of the In Conversation at The Art Station series
