Hayfever Dream is a week-long event organised by The Art Station Programme Assistant team in which a group of young people (aged 16-24) respond to the highs, lows and funny parts of growing up in a rural area. This event, part think tank and part exhibition, is being put together under the moniker “Bucolic Bastards” (bucolic meaning rural, idyllic; juxtaposed with bastards I.e. young people). The group aim to inspire young creatives to tell their own story of life growing up in an environment often dominated by much older people. In particular, they are keen to hear the responses from young people who may have felt especially isolated, or feel they have a different view of life growing up in rural area to many of their peers.

Open Monday 11 – Sunday 17 October 2021 everyday 12-4pm
