Jevan Watkins Jones is an artist and gardener based in Suffolk, whose work focusses on drawing, people, animals, and plants. Red Thread captures  moment when the artist was travelling by train from Briançon to Paris, and sees a single red thread beside him, caught in the carriage air vent. There is snow on the ground. He had been searching for wolves in the Haute-Alpes, hoping for a sighting. The work echoes the artist’s last encounter with his late brother as well as a wolf trap seen on his journey.
