Ribbon cutting event to mark the grand opening of the Insect Village!
Tuesday 26th August at 3:30pm
Location: Saxmundham, Just off the high street. By the River Fromus. What3words: lamp.slice.advantage
The Art Station has worked with lots of people in the community to create the Insect Village which will support insects to thrive here. More insects means more biodiversity, insects to feed our swifts and to pollinate our local crops for food. We’ve located the Insect Village right next to the river as insects also need water to survive
Take part in our insect costume competition! FREE workshop 1.30pm to 3.30pm in Old Bank Garden making insect costumes!
Afterwards, please come along and meet everyone involved in making the Insect Village and join us after the launch for refreshments in the Old Bank Garden, 24 High St, Saxmundham IP17 1AJ from 3.30pm to 4.30pm
Come dressed as an insect and win a prize!
Everyone welcome!
