Easter Holiday Activity Days

The Art Station will be running 4 creative activity days this Easter holiday for children and young people.

Each day will be packed with fun activities including creative sessions (drawing, painting, sound production, coding & tech, jewellery making) plus a fun outdoor activity nearby – with a full lunch provided for all.

We have 2 days for different age groups:

Mon 11th – Tues 12th April: ages 4 – 11

Weds 13th – Thu 14th April: ages 11 – 14

Each day will begin at 10am and finish at 4pm.

All food, materials and equipment will be provided – healthy snacks and juices will be available throughout the day. A full schedule can be found below.

Places are £30 per day, 2 days for £50 – bookable via the button link below.

Activity Schedule

Monday 11th April (ages 4-11)

Spring Time Cut Outs with Anna Ilsley: Collaborate to transform a wall into an artwork! Turning the room into a Springtime wonderland and bringing the outdoors in using shapes, colour and Matisse style cut-outs.

Tuesday 12th April (ages 4-11)

In the morning – Soundscape workshop with Loula Yorke: Creating a story and the sound world to go with it – using synths and sound effects to add unique elements to the acoustic sounds made.
In the afternoon – Carnival Costumes with Anna Ilsely: Exploring the outdoors for a walk to talk about stories and histories of Easter and festivals – then spending the afternoon making Carnival costumes.

Wednesday 13th April: (ages 11-14)

In the morning – Coding & Tech with Creative Computing Club – a crash course in generative computer art using M.I.T.’s Processing computer language. Learning how to control imagery and create individual and unique digital art using code.
In the afternoon – Jewellery Making with Eilidh Allen – learn how to design and craft your very own wearable creations with a professional jewellery designer.

Thursday 14th April: (ages 11-14)

In the morning – Jewellery Making with Eilidh Allen – a unique session of creative jewellery designing and making.
In the afternoon – Create Your Own Window Art – design and create your very own colourful window installation piece to take home and install, using layered vinyl pieces on acetate to create an amazing stained glass window effect.
