Art Station Film is a monthly film event showing artists’ film and moving image, programmed by filmmaker Emily Richardson in conjunction with exhibitions in the gallery.

The next edition of Art Station Film will take place on Friday 29th April.

The Art Station Film April edition will be screening a documentary about the poet Michael Hamburger by Frank Wierke. The film contemplates the question: How does a poem evolve? The film describes this process as a search for the intangible, in a web of daily routine, the garden in the change of the seasons, writing, apple trees at harvest time and the old house in Suffolk with all its furniture, rooms and memories. Shot by the director alone with little equipment, the film does without any staging or formal interviews.

Timings:

7.00- 9.00pm / Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30pm screening
