In May 2026 The Art Station and KADWAG (Kelsale and District Wildlife Action Group) hosted the National Emergency Briefing documentary presented by Chris Packham for our local community and a panel discussion followed the screening. The screening was one of many screenings hosted across the UK to engage and galvanise everyone in action and solutions to the climate & nature crisis which threatens all aspects of British life from national security to food supply, and for which solutions exist.
The National Emergency Briefing was commissioned to present the latest evidence, and build an irresistible call for the Government to stage a televised emergency briefing, the essential first step towards the WW2-scale response now required.
In November 2025, ten of the UK’s leading experts briefed an invited audience of over 1,200 politicians and leaders from business, culture, faith, sport and the media.
The briefing set out the implications of climate and nature breakdown for health, food systems, national security and the economy. A 50-minute film is now taking the message into communities across the UK, and beyond. Screenings in village halls, cinemas, faith spaces and workplaces are bringing constituents, civic leaders and MPs together to hear the evidence – and consider what an emergency response should look like.
