Jo Chapman – Relief Clay Tiles

Sculptor, Jo Chapman will be showing you how to make relief tiles, using air dry clay in all shapes and sizes. Experiment with various different fabrics and textures and even weave with the clay to create your own unique tile. The workshop will be suitable for both adults and children.

Liz is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses research, sculpture, installation, physical computing, film and community. ‘I explore physical and digital making to communicate diverse narratives about the world we live in from the ground beneath our feet to the stars above, connecting artistic practice with scientific data’. Liz will be running a felt soap workshop suitable for all ages and abilities.

Georgia Green – Riso Printing at The Art Station

Join printmaker Georgia Green and The Art Station’s resident Riso machine for a quick Riso printing taster session. A Riso machine is a planographic print device similar to silkscreen in nature. The Riso prints one colour at a time in bright, vibrant hues to create rich overlays of grainy texture using sustainable soya-based inks. All at the easy press of a button! Drop-in to make a print and see the machine in action, all ages are welcome.
