Artist Peer Sessions for artists in Ipswich and Lowestoft.

Ipswich (and surrounding areas)

Meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7-9pm every week for 10 weeks at the University of Suffolk.

These sessions will begin on Wednesday 23rd September and are supported by artist Annabel Dover. During each session, up to 10 artists will look at and discuss each other’s work.

Apply by midnight on Monday 21st September.

Guidance on applications:

Artists no longer in education with a clear commitment to developing their current practice, not necessarily having been through formal art education and motivated to share and discuss their work in a group crit context, as well as the work of others; are encouraged to send an expressions of interest (short statement and max 10 images of work) to Charlotte at info@theartstation.uk

In addition to the 10 free group crit sessions there is the opportunity for 1 to 1 mentoring, tailored to the needs of the artist.

Peer Crit in Ipswich and Lowestoft

Lowestoft (and surrounding areas)

Meeting on Wednesday evenings from 7-8.30pm every week for 10 weeks at the Mayfly on the Historic High Street.

These sessions will begin on Wednesday 16th September and are supported by Alexander Costello, artist and director of 303 Projects. During each session, up to 10 artists will look at and discuss each other’s work.

Apply by Wednesday 9th September.
