Coding & Tech Courses with Creative Computing Club

Interested in robots and computer games? Want to learn more about how they work and have a go at using computer tech in creative ways? Sign up for a 6 week course delivered by Creative Computer Club, teaching a variety of engaging coding and tech skills for children and young people!

During each course Creative Computing Club will explore a given theme, from game design to robotics, electronics to web design, taking them from the beginning to build their confidence and skills.

Introduction to GODOT 3D Development – 6 week course

In this introduction to GODOT 3D Development, students will build a 3D parkour-style game using the powerful game engine. They will learn the basics of 3D game design, modelling and produce a simple 3D game by the end of the course.

6 x Thursdays: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th June, 7th, 14th July 2022

Sessions are split by age group:

  • 4.30pm – Ages 8-12 years (parent and child session*)
  • 5.30pm – Ages 8-12 years (parent and child session*)
  • 6.30pm – Ages 12-16 years

*Children can come unaccompanied to 8-12 year old sessions with written parent approval.

No experience or equipment needed to participate.

Course fee: £60 (for 5 sessions from 16th June) 

Missed the first session? Not to worry, students are welcome to join from the second week (but unfortunately no later than this).
